Getting Your USI


Surf Life Saving Queensland has recently updated their polices and procedures in relation to Training and Awards in order to remain up to date with the State's requirements.

As of 1st July 2018, Surf Life Saving Queensland and the Point Danger Branch Office are unable to process awards without a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number.

This means that even though you have completed a course, you will not be issued with a nationally recognised VET qualification or Statement of Attainment when you complete a course if you do not have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

If you have not obtained a USI you can apply for it directly at on a computer or mobile device.

If you already have a USI number, could you please email this directly to the club so that this can be added onto your Surfguard profile for SLSQ to use as a reference for awards and training. Or alternatively, log into your portal and add SLSQ as an organisation.
