How to Join Surf Life Saving
New memberships and membership renewals for the 2024/25 season for active members, volunteer lifesavers, nippers and their parents are now open. If you want to find out more about becoming a member of surf life saving please do not hesitate to contact the Club Office by emailing surfadmin@tugunslsc.com.au.
If you are seeking a social membership with our Supporters Club for the restaurant and bar, please give them a call on 07 5534 2888 ext 1 or drop in and have a chat with our fabulous bar staff.
For New Members or Families
Missed our Registration Day, there is still time to join Tugun Nippers by going to www.sls.com.au/join/
- Select “Surf Life Saving Club”
- Search “Tugun”
- Select “Family” (all nippers in the under 6 to Under 14 age groups must have a parent/guardian register with them).
- Put the parent/guardian details in first and then add your nipper.
- Follow the instructions and pay your fees

- For Nippers, a parent or guardian must join as an associate member for the Under 6 – 14 Age Groups

- To finalise online registration for new members, a copy of identification (e.g. birth certificate, drivers license, passport) for the registered nipper and parent/guardian will be required. This can be scanned and emailed to the Club Office

Renewing Members
Renew your membership online by visiting your SLS Members Area
If you do not already have one, create a ‘members account’.
- Enter your email address and password where required.
- Please check your details and update if anything has changed in the last 12 months, ensuring the Club has an active email address and mobile number.
Renew and pay your Membership Fee online.
Other Membership Information
- Please download the Member Fees 2024-25
- Please note their may be additional fees during the season for board hire, training levy and competition fees
- We accept the Qld Government Fairplay Vouchers

Do you have your ‘Working with Children’ Blue Card?
It is a requirement of Surf Life Saving all patrolling members, committee & volunteers (e.g. age managers, BBQ Coordinator, Team Manager, Coaches etc) 18 years and over must hold a current Qld Working With Children Blue Card. If you do not have a current Blue Card, or you need to renew, please use the Blue Card Online Application Portal ensuring you have a QLD Drivers Licence or Customer Reference Number to hand.

If you already have a Blue Card with another organisation, please email a copy of your card to the Club Office.
